I’d label it SEXISM
March 7, 2012I was going to write a longer blog…and mention a certain radio personality who is losing advertisers and stations because of his outrageously sexist comments…or politicians who are alienating women voters by ignoring Viagra and Cialis for men while trying to deny contraceptive coverage for women…or the Doctor Pepper commercial that says a certain soft drink isn’t for women.
But I think the picture of this label says it all. Image credit goes to Emma Barnett, of The Daily Telegraph UK, who captured and twittered this image of the label sewn inside her boyfriend’s pants.
Here’s a laundry hint, guys: Sexism is a stubborn stain and doesn’t easily wash out of our social fabric. It needs a little laundry booster called I Am Woman.

Isn’t it amazing that women still have to fight these battles? Thanks for the memory of I Am Woman!
