Sing a song

Remember that scene in the movie Casablanca where the people in Rick’s American Cafe peacefully protested the presence of the Nazis in their midst by standing up and singing La Marseillaise, the national anthem of France?

Well, thanks to YouTube, we can see a modern-day parallel of the power of song as a peaceful protest to the hate-filled actions and words of the man who shot and killed students in Norway last summer. For a little more background on this story, here’s an online report from CBC News.
